It sounds to me more like public school failure, if "schooling" has to come into it.

But see, despite my biases (and I have them), I don't think schooling needs to come into this.Happy Elf Mom (Christine)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15047347624037697311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2212741399857110313.post-60781847193584961272012-12-31T08:57:11.390-06:002012-12-31T08:57:11.390-06:00These are the people I'm afraid of, especially...These are the people I'm afraid of, especially if they vote.Happy Elf Mom (Christine)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15047347624037697311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2212741399857110313.post-80675967494145677842012-12-31T08:54:46.739-06:002012-12-31T08:54:46.739-06:00People will think what they think about homeschool...People will think what they think about homeschooling... Because the writer was HS from K-12 (probably before it was legal and fear of SW was more real than imagined) by parents who were motivated by a religious conviction a la RJ Rushdoony, everyone else is motivated by the same. The shooter's mom had her son in public school and only pulled him out to homeschool him AFTER an extended battle with the school to get services for her already "deeply disturbed" son. But the logical error of assigning the same motives to everyone means that homeschooling gets blamed rather than the deeply disturbed stuff...

I found it amusing how many of the commenters assigned bias to conservative bent news sources and aren't intellectually honest about the progressive bent of the Daily Kos... It is rather disingenuous.
Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12875561671945374840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2212741399857110313.post-50954156835549468192012-12-31T01:38:05.758-06:002012-12-31T01:38:05.758-06:00Jeez, that is some scary stuff over there, Mrs. C....Jeez, that is some scary stuff over there, Mrs. C.
