The only one who escaped the trauma was my baby brother born 10 years later...he got his own wardrobe. lolBlondeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11827536147609261504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2212741399857110313.post-72683104500328348192012-12-25T10:11:08.455-06:002012-12-25T10:11:08.455-06:00Ohhh poor youuuu... lol

Picture a mashup of the Brady bunch and Goodtimes! I think my parents got bulk rates on buying our clothes in multiples. The worst part... As the youngest girl... Everyone's clothes were handed down to me so while the outfit may have been cute in 1975, by 1981, it was played out.. It was the done thing back then, to dress siblings alike. We weren't twins. Mum would buy yards and yards of fabric and there'd be a skirt or blouse for her, dresses for my sister and me and if the fabric wasn't floral or pink, there'd be a matching shirt for my brother. In one way, that's a good thing, if a child wandered away and someone asked what they were wearing, you could point to the other kids and say, he/she looks just like that. In later years I made dresses for my girls from the same fabrics, but used different dress styles sometimes, to preserve individuality.
