Just taking a baby is wrong. Unless that baby is not being cared for or even abused.Riverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14794655013673748992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2212741399857110313.post-35135395932650782712011-12-09T15:40:47.896-06:002011-12-09T15:40:47.896-06:00Dad, mostly the sensational TV reporting... :)
Da...Dad, mostly the sensational TV reporting... :)

Daja, honestly? I thought of you when I read this story. And I don't know of anyone who would accuse you of bad parenting. This teen seems a little reckless and ditzy (what if Grandma threw away the "robot," you know??) but not criminal. Who are these people, saying you MUST follow doctors' guidelines? Physicians have it *sweet* if they have that kind of lobbying power.Happy Elf Mom (Christine)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15047347624037697311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2212741399857110313.post-60239796898870457942011-12-09T15:32:13.207-06:002011-12-09T15:32:13.207-06:00Hmmmmm....I have never seen an OB. Unspeakably evil and selfish. Definitely a sad and strange story.

We have missionary friends here that have four adopted kids. The youngest was born in a similar situation (as in the parents didn't know that the teenaged daughter was pregnant until she went into labor). She went into labor way too early, and he was born before an ambulance could get there - he suffered brain damage as a result of lack of oxygen. Our friends adopted him knowing that he would have major challenges. I just thought of them when I saw this because even now they are doing hospital tag team as they deal with his various health problems (transfusions, seizures, etc.). They are true heroes! I hope the little baby in this story will be cared for by someone who really wants and loves him!Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09508033779758406137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2212741399857110313.post-84364426926683097952011-12-09T07:52:36.471-06:002011-12-09T07:52:36.471-06:00It is pretty sad, Susan! If that is true, why don't we hear about a search for the father? They would need his permission before adopting him out, I would hope?Happy Elf Mom (Christine)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15047347624037697311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2212741399857110313.post-74952364009421156502011-12-09T07:37:49.879-06:002011-12-09T07:37:49.879-06:00Very strange, indeed. My concern would be if she was intent on hiding the pregnancy, then denied the birth and told he was a simulation doll...did she intend to keep him?Blondeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11827536147609261504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2212741399857110313.post-7869093271183625242011-12-09T07:14:27.516-06:002011-12-09T07:14:27.516-06:00too sadtoo sadOnlythemanagerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06531176840769484642noreply@blogger.com
