I know you're going to want to try this at home in YOUR highchair. When you get your Captain Crunch cereal, the first thing you do is eat allll the berry cereals. You get taken away from the table when you play this game, so you need to plan ahead and eat all you feel like you're going to want before lunchtime first. Now, take one of these cereal pieces and put your pudgy finger on it *just right* so it flips. When Mom looks over, try to act all "yeah, I was trying to pick that up but it slipped" by picking another one up and eating it. La, la, la... ok. She's at the sink. Now for the BEST part. Did you know these things explode if you push them right in the middle, hard? Yes, they do. Oh, there's Mom. The best part of the game! Now say, "Done." That really gets her because she knows that YOU KNOW you should have just told her you were done in the first place.04 May 2009

That's so sweet. I wish I could my Cupcake to eat Crunch berries. She is such a picky eater and has been really off this week (cutting incisors). She is 21 mos and her almost 11 mos old brother weighs as much as she does. We eat Cheerios, but after 21 mos they are losing their mystique. We'll have to try a new cereal...maybe Captain Crunch!

ReplyDeleteI loooove little baby antics. With each kid I have, I've learned more and more how to appreciate the cute little things they do and keep them in my memory. With my oldest, I was so concerned about doing everything just right, that I didn't enjoy the little passing moments. Now, I just enjoy every bit of it. Except if they poop on me. MAJOR exception there.
