Ooo?
Woodjie likes to ask for an "ooo" now. Once he has a spoon, you know a request for "eee" is not too far behind. I mean, you need an "ooo" to eat your "eee." Though sometimes he's had to make do with eating cereal with his "ooo" because Mom doesn't understand requests for "eee" first thing in the morning. Sorry. Not to mention that Mom is going to run out of "eee" soon at the rate we're going.

Ours always said "nih" for milk. So we'd confirm the request with "Oh, you want milk?" and he'd be so happy his dense parents finally understood (the poor dears) and would give him milk. So thinking we were so smart and that we could learn his language we'd proudly offer him a glass of "nih". He'd look very confused and kind of indicate no, he wanted "NIH". We'd try again, "Nih?" He'd look at us like we were crazy. We'd try next with "milk?" and he looked so relieved and would smile and say, "NIH!" Oh yes, thanks alot old friends apraxia of speech and auditory processing disorder.
