My, how they grow! Woodjie is looking a lot like Elf used to.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see that Elf likes school. Hope it lasts.

One year, Ben had a teacher who probably would have been labelled as a kid, just by some comments she made. She "chose" to have Ben in her class, when most years I felt the teacher acted like she got stuck with him.
ReplyDeleteIt was the year I could breathe. The year I had a normal child.
I would take cookies over any field trip.:D
ReplyDeleteYay! So very glad that Elf loves school and is having such a positive experience. What a huge blessing! Cookies do sound better than a field trip, I must say. :-)
ReplyDeleteI was so glad to read this!!! You must be so relieved that he is enjoying himself and adjusting well. Yay!!!
ReplyDeleteI am SO GLAD school is working out for you and Elf! I know this was a source of worry for you.

ReplyDeleteThere are times when I wonder if homeschooling my boys is the best option. But, as hubby is quite set on it as the best choice, I'm sticking with it for now.
So neat that school is working out! I'd be sad about the field trip though. But if he's okay with it then I bet that makes you feel better. If my kids can go on a field trip for one reason or another I try to do something special for them. :)
ReplyDeleteA great school AND a t-shirt?
ReplyDeleteBonus!
I'm so happy for you and Elf. I hope we can also get good results from public school for our young'un.
