Of course, using Polish pottery is ALWAYS ideal. |
Easy and fun summertime activity to keep little hands busy! You'll need an angel food cake mix and a regular cake mix (your choice of flavour). Mix 'em up in a big Ziploc bag. You'll notice I just keep the measuring scoop inside.
Scoop 1/3 cup of dry mix into a microwaveable mug. Add three tablespoons of water. Stir. Microwave for a minute. Add icing and sprinkles. Zing! That's how easy it is.

I started out with more mix than this - but the pic is just to show you what it looks like. |
This sounds like my kind of cooking, quick and easy! (The "Blitz Kitchen" method?) I should try this recipe someday. :)
ReplyDeletelol I always think of German bombs when I hear of BLITZ. :)
DeleteI don't know if we have Angel food mix here in Australia, I'll check and see; if we do I'll give this a try.
ReplyDeleteI've tried brownies in a mug, muffins in a mug, but didn't like them as much as the baked-in-the-oven variety.
Yeah, they're honestly NOT as good, but kids like making them so that more than makes up for it and plus? I'm not as tempted to snarf 'em. :)
