Magnetic Mosaics

Rose is finally old enough (and has the patience) to use the magnetic mosaics set I bought awhile back.  There are several different varieties out there if you're interested in purchasing your own.  It comes with little clear templates you can place on the bottom lid and then pop the mosaics on top as you see here.  The only thing I'd do differently is to put each different colour magnet into a different ziploc baggie.  It's very difficult once you've allowed them all to jumble up, to find what you're looking for.

  1. They look like fun, never come across them in my travels.

  2. They certainly look like fun, I'll check around and see if I can find any here. I could put a set aside for the great nephew, he's only two yet.
Perhaps you could put the separate colours in your own little zip lock baggies. The snack size ones maybe.

  3. That is totally cool, never seen them here.

  4. The mosaic looks beautiful! I'm sure it must be a fun way for her to express her artistic talents! It almost reminds me of doing jigsaw puzzles. My sister and I would usually separate all the pieces by color, and whether they were edge or center pieces first. It did make it a lot easier.
