My Great-Great Grandmother

This is my great-great grandmother, Catherine Cavanaugh.  She was born in 1860 and this photo (which I have digitally filtered from the original, which has yellowed) was taken in 1865.  Isn't she cute?  Both of her parents were born in Ireland, so for this little branch of my family tree, she is the first to be American from birth.

  1. Yes she is cute. The operation you just had is almost identical to what I had 12? Years ago that nearly killed me. I also had repair work to girly bits due to damage done birthing 10 pound 12 ounce son! Take care of yourself... it's a big operation to get over.

    1. Thanks, Chris! My biggest was "only" 10 lb 4 oz but they induced him two weeks early. I also had other 10-pound babies. :)

Bringing Garbage Home

Some people up the street were throwing this table away. It was in pretty bad shape and one of the legs was off. I've glued the leg back...
