What's funny is in the past, we'd have ultrasounds and SEE the little weenie floating around, but the doctors would tell you that they CAN'T be 100 percent sure that it's a boy.
We are going for another ultrasound by the end of August and hopefully we will be able to tell the gender then. I want to know!!

That's because until the sex organs are totally developed boys and girls look the same in utero. It's called an "indifferent penis" believe it or not.
ReplyDeleteSo, ultrasound guessing is not terribly accurate unless one is patient enough to wait for a much later ultrasound.

Hopefully healthy is a correct guess LOL! Baby J had to go to the childrens' hospital for a couple days after birth and that was a scary time.

PS What is her nickname now? Baby J's is "chocolate spinach" or "muffin with cheese" or "woodjie pumpkin." I don't know why LOL!
