Yeeewh... Yuck.

THIS is what I saw when I *finally* had to go into the shower with my glassses ON to go get something. I had no idea it was this bad because I literally can't see that far!! Do you think *anyone* told me it was this yucky, or made an effort to clean it? Of course not... I spent $5 on a box of Magic Erasers and $2 on Patrick's scrubbing efforts. It looks a lot better now, but the caulking is still a bit icky. It probably just needs to be re-caulked but I can't seem to find anyone who will do this job for less than $10, and I'm not doing it right now obviously.

  1. Aren't Magic Erasers the bomb! I heart them. You can caulk it, save $10 and be done in less than an hour. Promise.

  3. I heard they weren't good either, but since Patrick is 14 he's big enough that I can tell him to wash well afterwards and not to touch his eyes while he's cleaning.

I have heard some people are allergic to them, too!

  5. I manage to get hubby to clean the showers/bathtubs. I just can't deal with them. I'll clean the rest of the bathroom, including the toilet, but not the showers. Don't know why.

  6. I don't mind the scrubbing so much but since I'm seven months along, it's hard to get down and up in the shower... not to mention a little dangerous. I actually HATE the toilets not so much b/c it's dirty (I mean, I can shower afterward) but it's hard to clean stuff with that pumice stick that gets hardened to the bottom of the toilet. It about pops my thumbs out of joint to do all that scrubbing. I make G do it all for a dollar a week, though the whining makes me feel like he should be paying me by the time the job is done LOL!
