It doesn't really matter if your ADDRESS appears on the rolls. Yikes! Here's the story of a fellow who wanted to see if any sex offenders lived nearby... and found his own address listed! How'd you like to deal with THAT one? I'd be afraid of someone coming to my house and shooting me or something. Great!
Of course, the guy in the article is perplexed that someone could use HIS address to get out of jail and no checking was done. Oh, no. That would be too much staff time and money. Better to let people have to check the sex offender registries every few weeks to see that they're OK.
Add that to your annual list, people, along with checking your credit report. ;]
