Thought I'd share Emperor's journal assignment. He was asked to write a little about what he wants to be when he grows up:
I would like to be a police man and arest criminals. They make sure that they obey the law. They make sure that the people are safe. Polices have hard jobs. You need polices in unGodly places.
(Awwww...)

ReplyDeleteThanks, Mrs. D! I will tell Emperor you liked his writing. :]

ReplyDeleteOh, I am sending my children to play with Emperor tomorrow. I want him to rub off on them. Having spent their formative years in Haiti, they have a rather dim view of police. They bow people (shoot) and put you in pree-son. They are only good if you want to tell them how unfair your mama is so that she can be put in pree-son pou ever!
ReplyDeletePoor David and Beverly. *How* do you teach children who have been through so much the new rules? But what they learned before helped them to survive. :[
ReplyDeleteEmperor thinks the police are like super heroes. Maybe both positions are a little extreme...
That's great. My kids still have no idea what they want to be, but they do plan on living with mom and dad when they grow up.
ReplyDeleteLOL DF that will change somewhere around age 12 I'm sure!!
