Firefighting Woodjie
* ***** Guess who visited Woodjie's school today? Woodjie wants to tell you about how he is going to be a firefighter. He also got "all mileys" today in school. He's actually had several days running of all smileys. Yay! Can you tell that he is starting to put words together and come up with unique sentences that convey ideas? Yep. It has taken him a bit longer than the average bear, but he is making a ton of progress.

ReplyDeleteGreat to hear about all the smileys. And Firefighters! I wish more school demonstrations like this happened out here in Australia. When I was in school no-one came to the schools, then when my kids were in school, third graders were taken to a local farm to see baby animals and cows being milked etc, but that's about it. I think it's a shame that more career people don't visit our primary (elementary)schools.
