The Best Bargain

I just bought these two handpainted Polish pottery cups from the thrift store for less than $2 each.  They still had the factory stickers on them!!  Rose and I are sharing them because we can't really tell them apart.

  1. They're gorgeous!! One appears to have a slightly darker rim, but otherwise identical. What a great find.
And what is that lovely bright yellow object? Sugar bowl? Paperweight?

    1. It's a glass apple. I have glass tomatoes and peppers "ripening" on my windowsill in the kitchen.

Since the cups are hand-painted, you see all kinds of small differences after you get to know them. And if you look carefully, you can tell where they rested in the kiln. Imprints are too small to photograph, though.

  2. I just love your pottery and wish there was more of it here in New Zealand. Did you know I used to be a potter? I made and sold lots of various things, including dinnerware and ornaments. I loved it.
Re Keera photos. I read on WADE'S Facebook that he would take and copy all photos of Keera on my blog, even if I had 'altered' them. So, there is no way he's seeing any!

    1. ((Chris)) that man really takes the cake. I hope he is able to repent of his ways and make peace with God before he goes, because I'm sorry for him and the people he destroys. :/

Bringing Garbage Home

Some people up the street were throwing this table away. It was in pretty bad shape and one of the legs was off. I've glued the leg back...
