Christmas 1914

My grandmother Maxine's Christmas tree, one hundred years ago.  She would have been five years old when this was taken in the city of DuBois, Pennsylvania.

  2. A bright pretty tree, I like the little fence protecting the display of gifts.
    I didn't start photographing my Christmas trees until 1984-5, mostly because I didn't always have a camera.

    1. I think the little fence goes with the toy horses there. Make the pic bigger and look realllly carefully. Old photos are a bit blurry. There are tons of toys there. :)
