Days at Home
The schools let out early on Friday because a large ice storm was moving in. We still haven't seen it, but we are hanging out at home. Even local churches have cancelled their services; it's supposed to be that bad. Like a solid sheet of ice. So we're finding things to do at home. As you can see, Elf is not that eager to have his photograph taken or to be blogged about now that he is an old man of 16 years of age.

I hope you don't get iced in. I'd go crazy at not being able to go out. I'm an indoor person a lot of the time, but to have the outdoor option removed would be harsh.
ReplyDeleteThere is not much ice now, but what there is is just one slick solid sheet. I'll happily stay in for a couple of days to ensure we won't break bones. There have been news reports of car pileups as well, but MOST people have been wise and just stayed home.
