Of course, most of our curriculum doesn't cost that much. It costs a lot more! But when I find a school reader or a book I've seen reviewed in other places, sometimes I'll pick it up if it looks promising. At 49 cents each, I can feel I'm still getting my money's worth if I skip over stories in an anthology that I don't want to read. Once D found Bob Jones teachers' manuals in the shelves!! These retail for about $50 each! Yay! No way I'll ever beat that one.
