Mrs. C,
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are precious! I love his monkey leash. That is just too cute!
Blessings,
Bronwyn
It really looks like fun. I loved the pictures.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous photos! I was thinking of all of my homeschool friends today when I actually saw a mother being accosted at the supermarket because she had her school age child with her. The truancy "police" had been called. And they were so mean to her.
ReplyDeleteWe have a monkey leash. We love it!
Thanks, Bronwyn! I think he's kinda cute, too. :]
ReplyDeleteRose, I'm sure you can appreciate how hard some of those were to take LOL. Thanks for the compliment!
Bonnie, I don't even know what to say about that. Homeschooling is VERY common here. In fact, we ran into a 14-year-old boy who introduced himself to Elf and Emperor and asked them about homeschooling, etc. Turns out HE is in his first year of homeschooling and loves it. Actually, it only seems old people are not clued in to the fact that there are a good plenty of homeschoolers out there. They are old-fashioned and reason children ought to be in school...
I prayed for that poor woman and her whole family. How often we have two doctor appointments in a day, and just don't go back to school in the in-between time. There isn't enough time to get the child back to school, unpacked and concentrating. Often I schedule my appointments all for the same day so that we only miss one day instead of several half-days for my ps kids. In between the appointments I have NEVER been asked about school. And my oldest is 16. They just ask the littler ones... hmm...
I guess once the kids aren't tiny anymore, who cares about 'em? But then, they get left alone. Mixed bag.
Awww lovely photos - so cute!
ReplyDeleteHe is a doll, and he sure has grown! I'm so glad that he was able to enjoy some of your time there in spite of having a couple of scary things to deal with.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics! You have such lovely & interesting children despite everything. ♥
ReplyDeleteSo cute! The playground sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics. He is so cute. I had a leash for the littles too when we would go somewhere big like that because it is just too easy to get distracted and something happen especially when you have one younger than that too.
ReplyDeleteWoodje always warms my hearts. What a sweet little face he has! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like all the boys had fun.. Elf and Emperor sure suit red!
ReplyDeleteI used a rein/lead type thing with all my littles too... better safe than sorry!
Woodjie really does have the best smile ever!
ReplyDeleteDitto... great photos! Beautiful smile!!!
ReplyDeleteYou've got such beautiful children, Mrs. C!!!
ReplyDelete(My kids screamed their heads off and totally embarrassed me at the petting zoo at the fair. You should have heard me, "For crying out loud, calm down! A lamb has never eaten a little boy!")
LOL... yet.
