Just in case you were hiding under a rock and didn't know that "hospital care is expensive," let me clue you in on what we've been seeing this week:
We went to Patrick's surgery follow-up on Thursday and found a bill for just under $500. Um, that's AFTER insurance and please pay up... Thanks! (Owie!)
Checked my mailbox today. Another $18,000 in expenses *so far.* We'll see how well the insurance pays or whether we're selling this place and moving to the 'hood so we can afford his medical care.
