Elf thinks the "alligator god" pictured in the book is really cool. He says he'd like to make his own mummy, not to worship, but just to find out how they did all those things in the book.

AWWW, He looks so peaceful. Go to wowio.com. They have free ebooks. One is on Egypt projects that kids can make. Bubba wants to make his own Egyptian outfit and a mummy and trinkets and other stuff too. If you get what I mean.
ReplyDeleteAnyway. I thought I would share it with you. Have a great day!!
Aunt B.
AWWWW now thats homeschooling, how cute. Is that the national geographic for kids or the regular one? I was thinking of that as a christmas gift, a year subscription to a magazine. I want to get an educational one, any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteThanks Lori
Lori, it's actually a softcover book put out by the magazine people. I'm surprised at the number of books and things I've had kicking around forever that are now being re-used for homeschooling!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the website, B; I am going to check it out!!
PS. I would suggest heading out to your local library and checking into all the magazines before committing to a subscription. There are very few I'd spend money on when you can look at it in the library for free. One I'd highly recommend for much younger children is the Wild Animal Baby magazine. It's really little cardboard books with GREAT pictures.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, seriously look in the library and you'll have a better idea what the magazine is like BEFORE you spend $20 or whatever.
I agree with Elf--I'm fascinated by mummies. What a peaceful little face he has, thanks for sharing! xo
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious picture! He's so cute.
ReplyDeleteAmen about the library..although I have to remind myself of that all of the time. My mom ( the president of our local library) doesnt understand why I go to Borders and drop $50 on books I could have checked out for free. D'oh.
