Princess Hairdo

I used the "baby hair" tutorial on this website and used an old sock in her hair. She doesn't have enough hair or patience to look like a "manga" character, though. Princess will have to do. I also didn't have the patience to wind up bits of her hair everywhere, so I popped a scrunchie on it for a bit of foo-foo flair. Rose is running around everywhere grabbing her "donut" bun and asking everyone to "Ook a me shirt!" Pretty.

  3. She looks adorable - she's getting soooo big!!!

When I read the part about not having the patience to look like a manga character I was imagining the kinds of manga we see around here and thinking, "well, thank goodness!" She is much cuter than any manga I've seen!

  6. Great job on the hair!
I used to wrap a scrunchie around my bun too, when my hair was long.

  8. I'm impressed. My daughter was born without any hair and it took several months for her to grow any. It's very, very fine and naturally curly. Once it grew, she cried every day when I combed the tangles out. Finally we cut it shorter and it worked out better. She was about your daughter's age.

  9. Absolutely gorgeous - especially the smile in the last pic.

This would be an awesome hairdo for little girls climbing up tissu and on the trapeze, I will try it out and see how she likes it. :-)

Bringing Garbage Home

Some people up the street were throwing this table away. It was in pretty bad shape and one of the legs was off. I've glued the leg back...
