Elf and Emperor had a great time on the pumpkin patch tour. We got to see all different kinds of pumpkins as well as pet the animals and go on a tractor ride to pick our *own* pumpkin! All this for less than half the cost of general admission, because we were a "school" group. School groups, unlike other customers, get to take the pumpkins home but they don't get to play on the "pumpkin playground." For an $18 difference, we can skip the playground!!

ReplyDeleteYeah, the boys loved it! They came home and decided they really didn't want to do any work... mean ol' mom made 'em though. For math, instead of adding numbers, we just made up ridiculous prices like $45 for a tractor ride and $15 to feed the animals... How much did you just spend? LOL!
ReplyDeleteThe little train that didn't come with the "school tour" they imagined cost $120!! Per ride!! That might explain why they didn't make a fuss when I told them the train was too expensive... sorry...
